Is anyone walking in the GA Walk for Autism this year? I'll donate regardless, but I like to sponsor a walker if I know someone participating.

If anyone's looking for a place to do a good deed, surely Iraq qualifies.  I have just confirmed that this request is still current, and that the contact address at the top is still valid.  

*sigh*  I don't agree with the war in Iraq, and frankly I think that the best thing we can do for the Iraqui people is to leave them the hell alone (or more precisely, to have left them the hell alone in the first place).  But as long as we're there...a little goodwill goes a long way.  So if you've got a few stuffed animals that need homes, here's a good place to send 'em.  This is not an exclusively Christmas related request, so there's no rush.  Just please, for the love of Allah, don't name them Mohammad.

(Btw, I'm just trying to alert people to an opportunity to do some minor good, no matter what their politics.  So please, please don't use this post as an excuse to pick a fight--you won't change my mind, and there's no point in raising a pregnant liberal woman's blood pressure, right?)
